August Toronto Real Estate Market figures are out. Click on your neighbourhood of interest for a detailed summary: Downtown | East Toronto | West Toronto | Midtown | The Beach(es)
The downtown Toronto Condo market saw a slight increase of 2.3 percent in average sales price in December 2014. The number of actual condos sold was just 21.
East Toronto continues to increase. Prices were up 7.8 percent, while listings were up ever so slightly. It is definitely still a seller’s market as inventory challenges continue to frustrate potential buyers.
Midtown average prices steady year-over-year. The number of homes sold in Midtown was up in December 2014, compared with December 2013.
West Toronto saw an increase in average prices of 5.3 percent. The number of sales and new listings were up year-over-year.
The average sales price in the Beaches was down a whopping 16.2 percent year-over-year. This is not a cause for alarm since only 33 homes exchanged hands in December, a very small sample size to determine any real trend.
