The overall Toronto market saw an increase of 9.1 percent in average sales price year over year. The average price of a home in Toronto for the month of December was $626,942.
The downtown Toronto Condo market saw a price increase of 5.1 percent year-over-year. Supply and demand has remained fairly consistent compared with December 2014.
East Toronto prices were up 5.3 percent, inventory and sales were remained steady year-over-year – much like the overall Toronto picture.
Midtown average prices were 9.9 percent year-over-year.
West Toronto saw a price increase of 10.8 percent year-over-year, while sales volumes and new listings were quite a bit. This ‘hood was the hottest in the city for the month of December.
The average sales price in the Beaches remained virtually flat year-over-year. The number of new listings almost doubled compared with December 2014.
