August Toronto Real Estate Market figures are out. Click on your neighbourhood of interest for a detailed summary: Downtown | East Toronto | West Toronto | Midtown | The Beach(es)
The downtown Toronto Condo market saw a slight decrease of 3.6 percent in average sales price in November 2014. The number of actual condos sold was up by about 75.
East Toronto continues to increase. Prices were up 4.4 percent, while listings were down ever so slightly. It is definitely still a seller’s market as inventory challenges continue to frustrate potential buyers.
Midtown average prices were up 11.8 percent year-over-year. Supply was actually up in November 2014, compared with November 2013.
West Toronto saw an increase in average prices of 3.4 percent. The number of sales were up and new listings slightly down year-over-year.
The average sales price in the Beaches was down 12.2 percent year-over-year. This is not a cause for alarm since only 59 homes exchanged hands in November.
